I needed some bags for grocery...so I made some inspired of regular plastic bags! The red atomium print comes from a trivet I've got free in a magazine years ago. (Gael Maison...if I remember correctly). I made the green pyramid print.

Use a plastic bag as pattern, cut the handles and the bottom, and unfold it. You gonna need 2 pieces of lining fabric and two pieces of external fabric.
Utiliza una bolsa de plásticocomopatrón, cortalas asas ylaparte inferior, y despliega lo. Va necesitardos pedazos detela del forroy dos piezas de telapara el exterior.
Sew lining and fabric as shown, wrong side out. Don't forget to put the tab (to roll the bag) between the two layers. Do it twice.
Coser el forro y latela como se muestra, con el lado equivocadohacia fuera.No se le olvideponerla pestaña(para enrollar la bolsa)entrelas dos capas.Haga lodos veces.
Open your two pieces, and put them on each other, wrong side out. Sew all around, let an opening in the lining fabric to return the bag. Fold each corner (around 2.5") and sew.
Abre las dos piezas, y pon las una sobre otra,costuras por fuera.Coser todoalrededor, dejar una abertura enla tela del forropara poder darle la vuelta a labolsa. Doble cadaesquina (alrededor de 6cm)y coser.
Return the bag, the right side must be out now, and sew the opening in the lining fabric. Put the lining fabric outside and sew the handles together.
De la vuelva a labolsa, las costuras deben quedar escondidas,y coserla abertura enla tela del forro. Pongala tela del forro por fuera y coserlas asas.
Return the bag, fabric outside, fold the handle and sew it.
Ultima vuelta albolso,doble las asasy coser.
